CALLING ALL INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED HANDBELL MUSICIANS:
AUDITIONS FOR CHARLOTTE BRONZE HANDBELL ENSEMBLE

Anyone interested in ringing with Charlotte Bronze either for Fall/Christmas 2015 and/or Winter/Spring 2016 needs to attend auditions on Monday, August 24, from 7 – 9 PM at Morning Star Lutheran Church, 12509 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105. Auditions consist of sight-reading new handbell music, level 3+ to level 6, in varied positions (treble, battery, bass, and low bass). Important notes:

• Attendance at every Monday night rehearsal is expected. Absences slow down the learning process. Regular rehearsals are at First United Methodist Church, 501 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte NC.
• Participation in the ensemble includes paying a membership fee and semester dues. The one-time membership fee is $50. Semester dues are $75 and due at the start of each semester. Full-time students age 24 and younger get a discount of 50% on dues only.
• All people who audition will receive a calendar of events. They include a Saturday retreat in October and a Saturday retreat in February. One of the spring concerts will be in Raleigh, NC. We are also negotiating concerts in Columbia SC and Winston-Salem NC. Also, a CD will be recorded this fall. Recording dates and location will be added to this schedule.
